The Heart Behind A Learning Lifestyle
Experience You Can Trust
A Learning Lifestyle exists to support ALL homeschoolers and alternative education students. Founded by Michele Reuter, a homeschool veteran since 1998, ALL is on a mission to meet those who learn differently and set them up for success! Using evidence based methodologies coupled with a project based learning style, Michele provides fun, creative, hands on, positive, and engaging content that WORKS.
Michele and her husband Tom have 5 children and 3 grandchildren, all of whom are neurodivergent. Michele has ADHD-predominately HI type, and Tom has learning disorders such as Central Auditory Processing Disorder, Specific Learning Disorders in Reading (dyslexia) and Writing.
Despite these challenges (well, probably BECAUSE of them!), both Tom & Michele own successful small businesses. Their grown children graduated from homeschooling and have successful careers and marriages. They continue to homeschool their younger children and help with the home education of their grandchildren.
When not in work or school mode, you can usually find Tom fixing or creating something. Michele can be found taking nature walks, petting their farm animals, or reading, almost always with music on in the background.
